engineer student, CREATIS
Paul Ménard, an intern, pursued a degree in physics and engineering at the preparatory school in Caen, followed by studies at the engineering school Phelma in Grenoble, specializing in electronic physics and materials.
In his second year, he opted for the biomedical track, deepening his understanding of instrumentation, electronics, biology, and image processing, particularly in the context of MRI images. He completed a semester-long exchange program at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands, focusing on ultrasound and image processing with AI.
His professional experience includes an internship at the GREYC laboratory on the European project BYAXON, where he restored the functionality of a magneto-optical camera measurement bench.
Currently interning at CREATIS within the SPCCT team, under the supervision of Hugo Lacombe and Professor Philippe Douek, he is dedicated to studying the image quality of SPCCT.
Outside of work, he enjoys playing jazz piano and rock climbing.
