Maria Nicole ANTONUCCIO

PhD, CT Clinical Scientist at Philips

Maria Nicole ANTONUCCIO earned her Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pisa (Italy) and a PhD in Engineering and Mechanics from École des Mines de Saint-Étienne (France). She was part of an industrial-academic Marie Sklodowska Curie PhD program, where she conducted research at Philips Research Paris and Fondazione Toscana “Gabriele Monasterio” in Italy. During her PhD, she collaborated with Copenhagen University Hospital and École des Mines de Saint-Étienne, gaining extensive experience in academic, industrial, and clinical settings, particularly in medical imaging.

Maria Nicole is currently a CT Clinical Scientist in the Clinical Science Research Department of Philips Business Unit. In this role, she coordinates and oversees clinical research collaborations between Philips and Hospices Civils de Lyon, focusing on spectral and photon counting CT technologies. Additionally, she supports research collaborations with other sites and collaborates with the R&D departments.
